See it in your room before you buy
Buying a sofa, a chandelier or a set of tiles online or from a showroom always comes with the same worry: will it actually fit and look right in my home? Now you can answer that in thirty seconds — point your phone and see the exact piece, at true scale, standing in your own room.
The problem with photos and renders
A catalogue photo shows the product in a studio or someone else’s beautifully styled room. It tells you nothing about how the piece sits in your space — your ceiling height, your wall colour, your existing furniture. That’s why so many home purchases end in “it looked bigger/smaller than I expected” and, too often, a return.
How “View in your room” works
- The seller sends you a link. A showroom, brand or interior designer using Aayami shares one link per product — usually on WhatsApp.
- You open it and tap “View in your room”. It opens in your normal browser; no app to install.
- You place the product in your space. Your phone camera shows your actual room, and the piece appears at its true size. Walk around it, step back, hold it up against your sofa or over your table.
Why it’s better than guessing
- True scale. The model is built to the product’s real dimensions, so what you see is the real size — not an approximation.
- Your room, not a showroom. You judge it against your own walls, floor and furniture.
- No app, no friction. It’s just a web link; it works on iPhone and Android.
- Share the decision. Keep the link, show your family, decide together before you spend.
What you can preview
Anything where size and finish matter: chandeliers and pendant lights over a dining table, sofas and beds in a living room or bedroom, tiles and marble on a floor or wall, and bathroom fittings. If a seller has made an Aayami preview for it, you can place it in your room.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to download an app?
No. You open the seller’s link in your normal phone browser and tap “View in your room”. It uses your phone’s built-in AR — Scene Viewer on Android, Quick Look on iPhone — so there’s nothing to install.
Is the size actually true to life?
Yes. The 3D model is built to the product’s real dimensions and human-checked, so it appears at its true size next to your real furniture.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. iPhone uses Quick Look and most modern Android phones use Scene Viewer. On any device you can still rotate and inspect the 3D model in the browser.
How do I get the link?
The seller — a showroom, brand or designer using Aayami — sends you one link per product, usually on WhatsApp. Tap it and you’re in.
